Ms. Bachman has been aggressively defending clients for her entire career, first as a Deputy at the Clark County Public Defender’s Office for eight years, and then as an Assistant Public Defender at the Alaska Public Defender Agency for three years. During that time, she has helped thousands of clients facing charges ranging from murder and sexual assault to drug possession, theft, and DUI. She has tried 27 jury trials and handled every aspect of criminal cases, from arraignment and bail to trial, sentencing, appeal and post conviction.
Ms. Bachman currently focuses her practice on appellate work. Her passion for writing is lifelong, having completed her undergraduate degree with a major in journalism, and serving as an Editor for the Minnesota Law Review. She has argued before the Nevada Supreme Court and the Alaska Court of Appeals.
When she’s not working on crafting a defense for a client, she can be found hiking at Red Rock with her dog or listening to live music at one of the many venues in the Valley.
